All Vows Lead Back To Chuck & Blair

Gossip Girl has had four weddings on it, three of which we saw the vows. In each of the weddings where we heard and saw the vows, they all related to Chuck and Blair. The words in the vows fit perfectly each time for who Chuck and Blair are, what is going on with them at the time, and who they eventually want themselves and their relationship to be.

Cyrus & Eleanor: Cyrus: “I Cyrus, take you Eleanor, to be no other than yourself” Eleanor: “I give you my love, I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine”

The only wedding that didn’t show the vows was Bart and Lily’s, but instead we got a speech that has been the epitome of what Chuck himself has to be worthy of and what Chuck and Blair can be based on, which is forgiveness and love.
